I'd say we had a pretty cooperative 2 (in July) year old!




You've all read several times over and over again and I'm sure heard or at least figured out by this point that Colbster was officially diagnosed with Asthma (at 6 months old). He's been on a daily (sometimes 2 or 3 times a day depending on the severity) nebulizer treatment ever since. We've grown used to it being a part of our life, after all Scott is an asthmatic so I guess Cman is following right in his footsteps already. A "mini me" of sorts. Pulmicort, Albuterol, Advair, Budesonide and more are all common terms in our vocabulary... can you even pronounce them?!



So every day (sometimes 2, 3 times or more) for the last 18+ months the little man has dealt with "the mask". Depending on the treatment he needs it could be anywhere from 8 minutes to 20+ minutes of sitting and breathing with "the mask" held up to his face. The 8 minute treatments seem so fast now compared to when we first began this daily ritual. We barely get through tinkering with a toy or reading a book and it's over. The 25+ minute treatments can get a little monotonous as he just wants to go, go, go and being contained, strapped to a machine and tubing with "the mask" isn't all that exciting.



BUT, clearly he has become used to it at this point.
